Dermologica active moist

dermalogica

BasharaCare sent across one of its best sellers, Dermologica active moist for me to review. I barely use moisturiser since my skin is oily and most moisturiser make it greasier. Dermologica as a brand is familiar to me because I have had dermatologists recommend their products to me before. I had received this a while back, but I thought I’d pen down my review once I use it for few weeks.

How to use it:

Cleanse your face and wash it. Apply over damp face and throat with light, upward strokes.

Review:

This product is light and I didn’t feel like I was wearing anything on my face. It contains natural botanical astringents of lemon, watercress, burdock and Ivy to help refine the skin while soothing extracts of lavender; mallow and cucumber provide deep hydration. Probably the reason why it smelled good too!

It works perfect for my acne prone skin since it is oil free. Astringents in this product help to keep the pores nice and tight. This prevents them from becoming blocked. I have started to use this to moisturise my face before I apply makeup.

Please note this product isn’t a solution to acne but it helps in improving your skin texture. I used to moisturise my face once in the morning and once in the evening for one week till I saw results. If you have oily acne prone skin like me, I would recommend this moisturiser for daily use.
